Cool late 50's industrial work desk. Has obvious signs of use and wear and tear as well as a slice in the top vinyl wood grain. This is another one of those mid century pieces designed to withstand a nuclear blast. Each corner of the desk has an adjustable extender so the desk sits solid even on uneven ground. This desk initially belonged to the Hertz Company located at 218 S. Wabash. I found some receipts as well as loss notices dated September of 1958 underneath the bottom drawer.
