Broyhill "Emphasis" Push Cart Bar

Here is a beautiful walnut, double sided, push cart bar in fabulous condition. Made by Broyhill in 1965 this piece comes from the "Emphasis" line. It features two top drawers, one of which is sectioned off and lined with red felt. The felt, as well as the dividers, are removable. Below the drawers are two cabinets with removable and adjustable height shelves. The top of the bar is a slate like Formica. The cart rolls easily and the side extensions effortlessly raise and lower. This is the perfect piece for entertaining, and when the party's over it can fold down and go back against the wall. If your looking for a place to store your liquor and vintage glassware, you just found it.  Loads of storage inside, killer good looks, extremely functional and solid as a rock, what more can you ask for?

Delivery available to Downtown and North Side residents for a small fee.

Sliding Front Entertainment Center

"

Well here it is, the most elusive of mid century items, the entertainment center. It was probably at one time a bar or a record holder, maybe a buffet in a kitchen. Whatever it was, it was taken pretty darn good care of over the years. As you can see, the bottom shelf easily holds a couple hundred LP's while the top is perfect for storing books or DVD's. The storage top itself does show some signs of surface ware, as you can see in the second photo, but overall I would say it's in really great condition, especially considering its age. There's a small hole in the back side for you to run a power chord through. You could put your flat screen on top and your DVR box inside. The doors are easily removable, if you wanna show case ya goods. Probably the best looking storage solution I have ever seen.

Low Back Elbow Sofa

Hey it's my sofa! I love this guy because I love long, cool looking, vintage sofa's. I'm 6'3" and I could SLEEP on this dude, with room to spare! Very comfy, super sturdy, one issue, the cover on the cushion is just worn out. I had it patched once and that held, but new tears in the fabric started. So this is a project, you can do as little as throw a blanket over the spot where the tear is or go as far as have it completely recovered. The back is in great shape, though a bit faded. The only issue is that butt cushion. Tackle that issue and you got a mighty fine sofa. I'm only getting rid of this sofa because I got a new (to me) EVEN LONGER low back sofa .

I basically just want this old friend to go to a good home.

1950's Formica and Chrome Dining Table w/ Leaf

Though the Douglas Furniture Store is now a parking lot this Formica and chrome table is still standing strong. Very Sturdy, the chrome is still bright and the Formica top is in great shape. Without the leaf this table sits 4 comfortably and 6 cozily, with the leaf in it sits 6 comfortably and 8 cozily. The Formica pattern is called "White Onyx". Very period perfect, a table extremely similar to the one featured in the essay "What Lies Beneath" in this quarters Atomic Ranch Magazine.
