Danish Modern Glass and Wood End Table

Very cool Danish modern glass and wood side table. Could also make a cool coffee table if your apartment is on the smaller side. It's a minimalist design so there's not much to say, just peep the pics.

1950's Hartmans Coffee Magazine Table

 

Great 1950's wood and Formica pencil leg coffee table made by Hartmans. As you can see fro the photos one end is shelved for holding magazines or TV remotes. Does show signs of use but overall is a very nice, cool, function piece. I have never seen one like this before, very cool.

Kroehler 9 Drawer Lowboy

Here is a 9 drawer Kroehler lowboy dresser in very nice condition. This dresser is wood wrapped vinyl just like the mirror from the same set listed bellow. This guy has a no fuss Formica top with minimal surface ware. Very easy to clean and maintain, Windex is all you need to make him shine. Very sturdy with lots of storage. Ya gotta love that cutaway on the bottom support, it gives the piece a floating quality. 

Speaking from experience, lowboys like this are a great alternative to traditional changing tables. They have lots of room inside for clothes, diapers or various other baby stuff. They are also the perfect height for a changing table, just add a changing pad to the top. Plus when your kid grows out of the diaper phase you have a cool functional piece of furniture to use. 

Is that tiny piece of  paper in the foreground bothering anyone else as much as it's bothering me?

Large Kroehler Hanging Wall Mirror

 

Here we have a very cool Kroehler wall mirror in wonderful condition. The wood frame is vinyl wrapped, which is nice because you can clean the entire thing with Windex. Wood and glass are always at war, the wood oil smudges on the glass, the alcohol in the Windex dries out the wood, no worries with this guy, Windex all over. This mirror hangs flush against the wall, I angled it down so it didn't reflect the workshop lights. The glass is chip, crack and scratch free. This would look perfect hanging over your mid century flagstone fireplace.

Bassett "Avante" Highboy Dresser

Here we have the last piece of the Bassett "Avante" walnut bedroom set. Just like the rest of the set, this piece is in beautiful condition. This highboy has a no fuss Formica top with almost no surface ware. I purchased this set from the original owner who took very good care of it over the last half century. Just a wonderful, well made, beautiful fictional piece.

Bassett "Avante" Lowboy Dresser with Mirror

This beautiful Bassett "Avante" 6 drawer walnut lowboy is in absolutely amazing condition. It has a no fuss Formica top with very little surface ware as well as a detachable mirror that you could hang elsewhere in your abode. Really not a lot to say about this guy, the pictures say it all. I purchased this set from the original owner who took great care of it, it's just an amazing piece. Lots of storage and good looks, what more could you ask for?

Bassett "Avante" Full or Queen Bed

One of the hardest things to find is a cool mid century bed, why that is I don't know. And even when you do find one they are almost always full beds. Here we have an awesome 1969 Bassett "Avante" full or queen size bed, the frame and headboard will adjust to suit either. As you can see from the photos it's in near flawless condition. I purchased this from the original owner, it had been in the same house since it was  purchased new. The bed is part of a 4 piece set that I will be posting over the next few days. Walnut Highboy Dresser

Check out this sweet 4 drawer highboy! Beautiful simple lines, pencil legs and walnut wood. Very cool drawer pulls too, the top are bronze and the bottom are silver. The top drawer is extra deep, which is great for storing sweaters, hoodies or other bulky attire. The dresser top is no fuss Formica, no drink coaster, no problem.
