Empire Case Goods Highboy Dresser

Here is a beautiful early 1950's Empire Case Goods maple highboy dresser. This dresser is solid wood inside and out. It's nice and heavy with dovetails all around and feels like it could survive an atomic blast. The good folks at Empire Case Goods "borrowed" almost 100% of their styling cues from the Leo Jiranek designed Heywood Wakefield "Plaza"series. This highboy is in very nice condition with minimal wear, especially considering it's over 60 years old. The top two drawers have dividers in them. The top drawer is split into three equal sections while the second drawer has a 1/3 split. Very nice solid piece that will outlive us all.

Empire Case Goods Vanity

Here is a  beautiful 1950's maple vanity, made from solid wood. Nice and heavy, this thing feels like it could survive an atomic blast. The folks at Empire Case Goods "borrowed" almost 100% of their styling cues from the Leo Jiranek designed Heywood Wakefield "Plaza"series. I purchases this vanity and a matching highboy dresser from the great granddaughter of the original owner. These pieces have been very well taken care of though there is visible surface ware on the top of the dresser and a few small chips on the rim of the mirror, nothing major. Structurally, this Vanity is rock solid. If I don't sell this soon I will probably start wearing makeup just so I can use it.

Walnut Lowboy Dresser

Here is an amazing 9 drawer walnut lowboy dresser. This is the final part of the 1968 three piece bedroom set and I think this piece is my favorite. I love how the wood grain carries over from one drawer to the next. As you can see from the photos this lowboy is in amazing condition and has tons of storage space inside. Solid as a rock with MCM style and functionality, what more can you ask for?

Buy the entire set and save some cash.

Walnut Victrola Console Cabinet

Here is a very cool mid 1960's RCA walnut console stereo. As you can see from the photos its in beautiful condition. Sadly the tuner does not work. When you plug it in nothing more than a loud hum comes from the set. There is a very nice Zenith direct drive automatic turntable next to the tuner. This turntable would also need to be serviced or replaced. There is a plethora of things you could do with this piece. For starters it would make an excellent entryway table. It has the good looks and its the perfect size. Secondly, you could have the electronics repaired. The speakers are in beautiful condition and the turntable still has its needle. If you do choose to refurbish the stereo and tuner I would recommend a great vintage stereo guy named Tom, he owns Upscale Audio and does quality work for a great price. Thirdly, you could gut this stereo and turn it in to a Mad Men style Liquor cabinet. Think of this piece as a beautiful walnut colored blank canvas.
