1950's Credenza

Here we have a very cool 1950's credenza. It reminds me of something you would use in the kitchen but it would also make a great TV stand, bedroom dresser or entryway table. The yellow and white colors are period perfect and appear to be original. I opted not to re-paint this piece, it has a great patina. Lots of storage and good looks. Perfect for a small apartment. I love this little guy, he's so cheerful!

Floor Lamp with Milk Glass Shade

Here is a beautiful black and gold tone floor lamp with a milk glass shade. This guy is solid as a rock, no wobble here. The shade is made by Corning (the same company makes Pyrex) and is in perfect condition, free of any chips or cracks. The lamp body is also in beautiful condition, though there is a crack running through the backside of the gold tone tubes. This does not effect the functionality as the gold tone is purely cosmetic and is wrapped around iron. Also, the crack isn't visible since it is on the backside. The lamp has a 3 way bulb in it now but is also compatible with a modern compact florescent. Super cool, I have never seen another one like it. This floor lamp would look killer next to your Eames shell chair.

Will deliver to North Side and Downtown residents for a small fee.

1950's Frigidaire Refrigerator

I am selling this vintage 1950's Frigidaire refrigerator for a friend. It has been in the back room of her grandparents basement since 1974. It's like it lived in a little time capsule. Beautiful white enamel exterior with a sea foam green and gold tone interior. The entire thing is in awesome condition, still works like a champ and makes ice in no time flat! Beauty and function living in perfect harmony.

Will deliver to Downtown and North Side residents for a small fee.

1950's Industrial Adjustable Table or Floor Lamp

Here we have a very cool Industrial floor or table top lamp. The base is cast iron, the shade is aluminium. Very Sturdy and works perfectly. There is a ball joint on the base of the shade giving the lamp about 80 degrees of horizontal, vertical and diagonal articulation. I found this inside a small coal room beneath the stairs of an old house. The original owner told me that they originally used it as a tanning lamp. It has a regular bulb in it now so you don't have to worry about getting burned while peruse through this months issue of Dwell.

Will deliver to North Side and Downtown residents for a small fee.

Danish Modern Armchair

This is a great danish modern armchair in the Hans Wegner style. Structurally it is in amazing condition, very sturdy and comfy. This chair has lovely MCM curves and a beautiful spindle back. I am listing this piece as unfinished because it needs new cushions, the old foam is starting to deteriorate. The seat coverings are in very nice condition, though they could use a wash before you put the new cushions in. Google "Foam Cushions" to find a billion places to buy the foam for the cushions.
