Here is a rare 1960's Austrian hanging swag lamp. This guy is in amazing shape, the chord and chain are brand new. This piece was bought as a souvenir kit in Austria. The lamp came in a flat box and tourist would assemble the shade back home, obviously this lamp wouldn't have been the easiest thing to pack in it's current state. The original owner never wired it but rather just displayed it atop a floor lamp in his house. I currently have a new Westinghouse swag kit on it. You could easily remove the kit if you chose to and wire it as a chandelier. The new line and chain look period perfect and the lamp works like a charm. There is a switch in the chord to turn the lamp on and off. I love that bright orange color and this lamp really gives off a great glow. Beautiful off or on.
