Bauhaus Style Side Chair

Here is a beautiful Bauhaus styled "Cantilever" chair. The chrome is nice and bright, the caning is perfect and the blond colored wood is in wonderful condition. The white plastic sliders on the bottom are easily removable. Even though these chairs were originally designed in 1926 by Marcel Breuer the style was so fashion forward that they are still produced new today.

Walnut Wardrobe

If your living in Chicago lack of closet space is not a new thing for you. Well here is your new closet. This 1960's walnut chifferobe (or armoire) features over 3 feet of hangable closet space. This piece is wrapped in an absolutely beautiful walnut exterior and features a ceder lined interior, to keep the moths away. It's in amazing condition with very little signs of ware. Even the top is beautiful select lumbar, though you will have to be over 6' to see it. Wonderful understated style, the short pencil legs give it a lightness to its look. The floor pan in the bottom of the piece allows for extra shoe or folded cloths storage. Looks great, smells great, gotta love cedar.

Broyhill "Emphasis" Dining Table w/ Two Leafs

Here is a beautiful 1965 Broyhill "Emphasis" walnut dining room table with two original leafs. This was Broyhill's take on Danish modern, with clean lines and wonderfully understated stylized legs. The table comfortably seats ten with both leafs installed, and six with out any. This piece is in  fantastic condition with minimal wear, the previous owner told me that it was always covered with a table cloth. In the right light you can see some flaws in the clear coat due to the original owner displaying vases on the table. If you were to respray the clear top it would be flawless. The dark walnut top has a wonderful grain pattern. This piece is as sturdy as they come. If you are looking for a 1960's Danish modern table, and have the space, this is it.
