Kroehler Highboy Dresser

Here is a very cool five drawer golden oak laminate Kroehler highboy dresser. The Formica top is in near perfect condition, as is the rest of the dresser. Very solid and well made, beautiful pencil legs. Circa late 1960's, I purchased this from the son of the original owner. This set was well taken care of, just check out the photos. I also have the matching full bed and nightstand. Buy the entire set and save some cash.

Kent Coffey "Predicta" Dresser & Mirror

Here we have a beautiful 1965 Kent Coffey walnut "Predicta" 6 drawer dresser with a beautiful large mirror. The mirror is detachable and has mounts on the back so you can hang it elsewhere in your home. The mounts allow it to be hung vertically or horizontally. I think it looks great on the dresser though, I would be hard pressed to separate the two. The top of the mirror when attached to the dresser reaches just under 6'5", which is great for those tall folks out there. I'm 6'3" and it's rare that I find a dresser mirror that I don't have to stoop, at least a little bit, to look into. There are signs of wear to the dresser top but other than that its in pretty amazing shape. The mirror is crack and chip free. I love the cut-away on the bottom of this dresser. It's a wonderful little touch that makes the piece feel not so heavy. I also love the beautiful select walnut wood used on this dresser. Solid, sturdy, lovely and functional, with lots of space inside.

Dyrlund Danish Modern Coffee Table

Here we have a very cool Dyrlund coffee table, made in Denmark out of teak wood. This is the perfect size coffee table for a small apartment. You could also use this piece as a large side table if you had the space. There is some wear on the top but overall it's in very nice condition. I love the color and wood grain on this guy!

Heywood Wakefield "Plaza" Wheat Highboy Dresser

Here is a 1940 Heywood Wakefield "Plaza" five drawer wheat highboy dresser in absolutely amazing condition. The original owners opted for the protective glass top, and as you can see from the photos, the top of this dresser is in pretty much perfect condition. This dresser also spent it's entire life under the same roof, which is another reason it's in such amazing condition. The less you move your furniture the less chance you have to bang it up. The Plaza series was designed Leo Jiranek, know as the Dean of Furniture Design, and is made of solid birch wood. This highboy is super solid, has tons of space inside and is a beautiful example of early mid century modern design.

Heywood Wakefield "Plaza" Wheat Dresser

 Starting in the mid 1930's Heywood Wakefield branched out from building tradition style furniture and began building in the "modern" style. Here we have a beautiful early modern piece from one of the most iconic names in mid century design, designed by one of the most prolific designers. The Heywood Wakefield plaza series was designed by Leo Jiranek, who is known as "The Dean of Furniture Design".This dresser is in absolutely amazing condition, especially considering it was built in 1940. I found this piece (and a few others) in an old house in which this dresser lived since the day it was purchased. The original owners opted for the glass top, and as you can see by the photos, it has kept the top in near perfect condition. Solid wood, good looks and tons of storage.

Danish Modern Kitchen Table

A handful of kitchen tables have come through my shop, this guy here is my absolute favorite! This rock solid Danish modern table comes with two additional leafs transforming it from a table for four to a table for eight. With all the leafs in, this table is just a smidge under 7 feet long. I am not positive what the actual wood used on this table is, it appears to be teak but could also be oak. The leaf that is a darker color is walnut, it was purchased by the original owners to accommodate for their growing family. I love the beautiful simple lines on this table as well as its versatility. Perfect table for entertaining.
