Cavalier 6 Drawer Highboy Dresser

 Wow, it doesn't get much better than this. Here is the final piece of the Cavalier six piece set. This highboy features beautiful select lumber all around, just check out how the grain pattern carries over from one drawer to the next. The top has doors that open to reveal 2 drawers on the left and a pull out shelf on the right, a great place to keep your watches, belts, cuff links, tie tacks or a tumbler of fine whiskey. The two top drawers feature wooden dividers, the top drawer is split into two section and the second to top is split into three. The dividers are removable, but why would you want to? The bottom drawer is cedar, a testament to the high quality of this set. Store all your wool blankets and pea coats down there and have zero fear of moths striking your garments. On top of every thing this dresser is in absolute AMAZING condition, as is the rest of the set. Wonderful American craftsmanship with a touch of Danish modern style.

Cavalier Sliding Front 12 Drawer Lowboy Dresser w/ Mirror

Here we have the lowboy from the Cavalier set. Twelve big drawers, the top three drawers all have wooden dividers in them. The top left drawer also has a built in jewelry holder. The large mirror is detachable and could be hung else where in your home. The sliding front (which I think is a total show stopper) is made from 2 different types of wood, which you can see in the photos. The sliding fronts are also removable, if you would ever wanna do such a thing. The drawers behind have these beautiful "zig zag" pulls. This piece is in wonderful condition, though there is spot of slight discoloration on the top where perhaps a tube radio sat. This set was purchased from the original owner, who had impeccable taste when it came to mid century furnishings, these pieces were all well loved.

Cavalier Full Bed and Nightstands

Here are the first pieces of the entire Cavalier set I have. Wonderful Danish modern style, this set is in absolutely beautiful condition. Notice the attention to detail Cavalier took, the wood grain pattern carries over from one nightstand top to the next. This set is VERY rare and I have never seen it all in one place before. I purchased the entire 6 piece set from the original owner. These are some of the highest quality pieces that have ever come through my shop. Cavalier was a great old furniture manufacture out of Chattanooga Tennessee. The bed frame is included, I just didn't take a photo of it. I will not separate the bed from the nightstands.

Broyhill Brasilia 9 Drawer Lowboy Dresser w/ Mirror

Amazing Broyhill Brasilia 9 drawer dresser with matching mirror. Purchased from the nephew of the original owner this piece was well loved and it shows. The Brasilia series was designed in 1962 and was inspired by the beautiful architecture of Oscar Niemeyer and his design of Brasil's capitol city, which was built between 1956 and 1960. As you can see from the photos this piece is in very nice condition with minor surface wear. The mirror is detachable and has wall mounts on the back, meaning you can hang it anywhere you choose. This dresser is another one of those pieces that looks like it walked straight of the set of Mad Men. As the satin sticker above boast, this piece has the Good Housekeeping stamp of approval.

Bassett 9 Drawer Lowboy Dresser with Mirror and Glass Top

Here is a beautiful example of mid century design at its best. The simple lines and hidden drawer pulls allow the natural beauty of the walnut to stand out. This guy is long, heavy and super sturdy. The date on the back appears to be September 1957. The glass top has really protected the wood through the years, there is next to no wear on the dresser top. The glass top itself is in near perfect condition with no chips or cracks and the rest of the dresser is in equally great condition. The 9 drawers are big and deep with dovetails all around. The large portrait mirror is removable and could easily be hung elsewhere in your abode.

Pro Tip: Dressers like this lowboy are a very cool and functional alternative to changing tables, just add a changing pad to the dresser top.

Bassett Artisan Walnut Dual Level Swivel Coffee Table and End Table

Very cool Bassett living room set from the Artisan series. Great Danish modern style. Curved "surfboard" edges on both pieces. Coffee table top has the ability to swivel 360 degrees. Looks like it came straight of the set of Mad Men.
